The complete review's Review:

The Knot Garden is a mystery, of sorts. Richard Wisden, TV gardening expert, is an apparent suicide, but there's more to it than meets the eye, as his widow, Libby sets out to determine. Wisden was out researching knot gardens, tangled gardening mazes with clever solutions.
Told in many voices in its brief chapters Nicholson examines the life and death of Wisden, piecing together a complex puzzle which naturally finds a neat resolution. Nicholson presents the story very well, and it is throughout a quite captivating tale, though the unravelled knot was a slight disappointment. Nevertheless, it is a fun and thoroughly enjoyable mystery. Recommended.
