Editorial Notes

       The fall issue of the complete review Quarterly offers quite a bit of variety.

       We've decided to start another annual survey, looking at The Year in Reviews, providing information about and links to the most interesting (and controversial) book review-related stories of the year

       We also turn introspective, wondering this time: How Sexist are We ? as we look at Looking for books by women at the complete review. It's not a pretty picture .....

       Finally, we offer something of a rant with Literary Legacies, considering Executors, Duty, the Law -- and a Proposal
