Who won't make
the complete review
Certain standards must be maintained.
The complete review is not a democratic institution where all can find a place. The complete review is an exclusive Literary Saloon, and those books and authors that do not meet our standards will not be served to our patrons.
Reasons why books and or authors might not be included include:Fortunately, the internet provides enough sites and places for these undesirables.
- Inferior literary quality
- Of topical and not lasting interest
- Too few redeeming qualities, or addressed to too limited an audience.
To give users some idea of what will not be found here we provide a list (which is by no means comprehensive) of books and authors that we believe defy review (not necessarily because they are of inferior literary quality -- although that is the most frequently found defect) and thus are not on offer at the complete review
